This location has been here for a long time with many different Vietnamese restaurants coming and going throughout its history. This time under new ownership, the restaurant is called GAO. The restaurant is totally renovated with fresh new decor. They did a very nice job except the number of tables has been reduced making it smaller than before. It seems very packed when fully seated. This is our first time back so we ordered a few different dishes ranging from Pho to Pork chop rice and a special fried rice with beef. Prices are reasonable but some items are quite pricey. The food was very flavorful and tasty. I didn't like the fried rice as much. Wish they would have cooked it a little longer for more flavors. With this said, however, I do have to say that the taste is probably the best amongst many Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Service was excellent with friendly and helpful staff. They did a very good job this time around with the refresh as well as the food. Give this place a try.

My new pho spot for sure! I saw Gao on my way to another restaurant and decided to give it a try. Happy to say I was not disappointed! The restaurant itself as well as the bathroom was spotless. Decor and music made a lovely atmosphere; very tranquil and positive eating experience. The wait staff were attentive, accommodating, and polite. My food came out quickly was hot and delicious to say the least. Every ingredient stood out and tasted fresh and light but super balanced and flavorful. When you force yourself to stop eating because the portions are so big they will separate the noodles from the broth which is extra convenient for enjoying again later. Highly recommend!
